John Derian Moves Into the West Village

IT’S BEEN 23 years since John Derian, 55, opened his first New York City shop, filling it with his quirky-cool decou-page pieces and antiques. Since then, he’s added two neighboring stores—one for furniture, the other for bedding—turning a once-sleepy East Village stretch into a destination for bohemian-chic shopping.
