Executive will lead changes at Equifax, which disclosed massive data breach last year
Equifax Inc. said it has hired a new chief information security officer to help with the company’s overhaul of its security in the wake of its massive breach last year.
Equifax said Monday that it hired Jamil Farshchi, as its new CISO. In this role, Mr. Farshchi will be responsible for transforming the company’s information security. He was previously CISO at Home Depot Inc. and held similar roles at Time Warner Inc. and Visa Inc.
